Event - Year 1 Visit St Giles Church

20 March 2017

As part of learning about different faiths, Year 1 visited a Church of England church today - St Giles.

The vicar, Andrew Gandon, talked to them about what happens in the church and why. The children were able to walk around the church and identify various items used during church services eg. alter and lectern. We then walked back to school in the rain, trying to avoid all the puddles.

The children all enjoyed finding out about our local church.
