Event - Science and Engineering Week

25 to 29 June 2018

What a week! First a big thank you to parents and staff for making our first science and engineering week very special. The children had an action packed time and will take away many wonderful experiences form the whole week.

Many parents came to support the activities arranged with each class - especially the 'car engineering'. Some of the tasks were tricky but everyone demonstrated to the children to be resilient and not give up. Mrs Wall will take teams from each class to the final at Warwick University where they will race the cars.

A big thankyou to Mrs Conroy who led the science fair, we raised an amazing £600ish.

Finally, Friday’s assembly was with apprentices from JLR and all the children were challenged to build the tallest tower out of spaghetti and marshmallows – very messy especially in the heat.
