Year 3 visited Ryton Pools to find out more about life in the Stone age.
Much of the day was spent outdoors where children gained hands-on experience of life in the stone-age through building shelters, cooking on an open fire and handling artefacts.
They had a great day and learnt a lot about our ancient ancestors.
