Year 3
Welcome to Year 3.
In our teaching team we have Mrs Hitchins, Miss Scatena and Mrs Cooke.
Year 3 is the start of Key Stage 2. We link very closely with Year 2 and Year 4 to ensure consistency and to continue to move the children’s learning on.
We start our learning as soon as we come into school by practicing our handwriting and then complete our Maths, English and Reading lessons before lunch. Our afternoons are full of wider curriculum activities such as PE, Humanities, Science, Computing, Art & Design, PSHE, Religious Education, Spanish and Music. In our music lessons, we have a teacher from Warwickshire County Music Service teaching us how to play an instrument called a Dood.
