On Wednesday 11th May, Year 1 went on a trip to Ryton Pools as part of their Science and Geography learning.
Despite the very wet weather, in the morning they all enjoyed pond dipping (and identifying the creatures that they caught) and in the afternoon they had adventures in the wood which included den building, digging for treasure and playing in the mud kitchen.
Everyone showed excellent resilience and collaboration and most of all had enormous fun!
