Event - Ugly Bug Ball

23 May 2014

To celebrate the end of our super science topic 'Take a walk on the wild side' the children helped to organised an Ugly Bug Ball.

We had a fantastic time making bug biscuits and enjoyed baking cakes. The room looked fit for a ball with all our repeating pattern paper chains, that the children were excited to make.

So the bugs could move freely around the school, they made their own bug passports. Then used them to visit the different classrooms to find out the older children’s favourite minibeasts. It was hard work recording tallies on the charts.

In the afternoon our hungry bugs celebrated the day with a dance and a picnic. We all had a fabulous time.
