Event - Year 5 at the Jorvik Centre

22 May 2018

Year 5 travelled all the way to York on Tuesday to immerse themselves in the Viking World, from sights to sounds and even smells!

Our previous learning came in handy as the children already had some knowledge of what they were being told and shown. We had a fantastic day talking to Viking experts and archaeologists as well as taking part in archaeological digs.

It was a long day but huge fun and the children were a real credit to the school.
