Event - Christmas Events

11 December 2014

It was a busy week last week for both the new Parents Association and all our children.

The pupils were involved in an enterprise week, making and baking gifts in preparation for the school Christmas Fair. Many items were available to buy at what our children judged were reasonable prices: cards, calendars, cakes, jewellery, balloons, toys, candles and many other items. The children worked very hard; the money raised will go towards a class project of their choice.

The PA organised many other tables the money raised on these is used to support our pupils learning. The first prize in the raffle was won by Mrs Bramwell a parent of a Reception pupil.

It's always so much harder than it looks to make these events successful and we think the newly formed PA has done a fantastic job. We are especially grateful for their support at this busy time and hope they will be encouraged to carry on and provide us with many other community events through the year. They will always warmly welcome anyone who can help during school events, contact them if you can assist.

Finally it's always more than just a Christmas Fair, we hope that many happy memories are created of a time spent at Christmas in school, that the children can carry with them for life.
